Once you have created an item group, the next step is to add products (SKUs) to it. Each group can contain one or more interchangeable items from your catalog.
Adding Products to a Group
From the Item Grouping tab, click on a group name or click the actions menu and select Manage Items.
The sidebar will open showing the group's current members.
Use the Search products by SKU field to find items from your catalog.
Click on a product to add it to the group.
Repeat for any additional products you want to include.
The item count on the group's row in the table will update to reflect the new total.
Removing a Product from a Group
Open the group's sidebar.
Find the product you want to remove in the list of associated items.
Click the remove button next to the product.
Associating a Product from the Catalog Side
You can also associate a product with groups from the catalog item itself:
Go to the Catalog tab.
Find the item and select Edit Item from the actions menu.
In the edit sidebar, search for and select one or more item groups to associate the product with.
This is useful when you are reviewing a specific SKU and want to quickly add it to relevant groups.
Tips
A single product can belong to multiple groups.
Groups with no associated products will still appear in the list but will show an item count of 0.
Adding or removing products from a group does not affect any quotes that have already been submitted — only future uses of the group.
